Paynesville’s Annual Light Fight A Bright Spot For Community

PAYNESVILLE (WJON News) -- Paynesville businesses and residents are taking part in a modern-day Deck the Halls. The city is holding its 5th Annual Holiday Light Fight.

Participants had until December 8th to register and voting started this week. There are three catagories in the event: Best Business Decorations, Shoot Your Eye Out or overall brightest, and Griswold Approves or most votes by community members. The winner in each category will receive $50 in Chamber Bucks.

People have until Noon on December 20th to vote and you can vote on the Paynesville Area Chamber's webpage or Facebook page.
