Discover TCHS’s New Home During Paws And Pumpkins
ST. CLOUD (WJON News) -- The public can take a long-overdue tour of a local establishment this week. The Tri-County Humane Society (TCHS) is hosting "Paws & Pumpkins," a pet-friendly open house, on Friday. TCHS moved into its new building over five years ago, but because of COVID was never able to host an open house for people to see the facility. The event will have tours of the shelter, vendors, a pet photo booth, treats, cider, and information on how you can get involved. Visitors will also be able to look at the shelter's newest feature, the Tribute Wall. The wall will display permanent tags on which donors can pay $250 to have a beloved pet or person's name engraved. The majority of the event will take place outside, so people can bring their pets with them as well. The Tri-County Humane Society's Open House takes place from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday and is free to attend.
