WAITE PARK (WJON News) -- A local concert venue wrapped up another successful season in 2025. The Ledge Amphitheater held a record number 20 large events. Over 61,000 people attended events at the ledge in 2025, which is up about 20,000 people from last year. General Manager Meredith Lyon says they learned a lot in 2025:
"We did have an active, what they call, the National Weather Service calls an active weather season, so we learned some things. We had some rain days, but we have hearty fans, so we learned that we always knew that, but they came and made it through those rainy concerts."
The Ledge experienced its first weather delay during the Warren Zeiders concert on July 18th. Lyon says their severe weather procedures proved effective during that delay.

She says the open house was successful too, even after having to reschedule it due to the weather:
"A number of the individuals that came to the open house had not attended anything prior but having had a chance to walk through, and they got to see the backstage, which is never open because usually if your'e coming to an event you don't get to see that behind the scenes so that was kind of fun to be able to share that with everyone."
Lyon says many of those people came back for a concert later in the year. She says they may have a few new surprises up their sleeve for 2026, and they hope to add a few more shows as well. Since it first opened, the Ledge Amphitheater has had about 210,000 people visit the venue. Check out the Gallery of photos from many of the 2025 concerts at the Ledge below.
