Holiday Cheer Begins With The Zonta Christmas House
ST. CLOUD (WJON News) -- November is officially here, and there is no shortage of fun activities going on in the St. Cloud Area. Area theaters are gearing up for the holidays with "Annie" opening on the 21st at the Paramount Center for the Arts, "Bad Rabbits Cabaret" on the 15th at Gnarly Bard Theater, or "Happy Ha-Ha-Ha-lidays!" with Jason Schommer and Michael Shynes on November 26th at Pioneer Place on Fifth. Plus, there is the Water Circus at Crossroads Center from the 7th through the 10th, and don't forget about the Zonta Christmas House on the 21st and 22nd.

Visit Greater St. Cloud's Rachel Thompson says the Zonta House is a holiday tradition for a lot of families:
"The concept is we open the home to a bunch of decorators that come in and they pick a space, whether it be the kitchen, a bathroom, a bedroom, and they decorate it for inspiration that you can then go to their store and purchase those items to decorate your own home."
She says there are a lot of new decorators at the house this year.
Thompson says Get the Message, opening on November 7th at the Stearns History Museum, is a step back in time:
"It is all about advertising in Stearns County, things like the Frenchy's dinner club, and Kleis Motel neon signs are going to be on display, so they've fixed them up a little bit and made sure that they're shining brightly as well as lots of other display features within that museum."
If that is not enough, the Great River Children's Museum is now booking birthday parties, Granite City Jump is back at the Midtown Mall, and Black Friday and Shop Small Saturday will be here soon. Thompson says there is never a shortage of great activities and events to do in and around St. Cloud.
