RICE - Two people were hurt in a crash north of Rice. The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened on westbound Highway 10 Monday afternoon just before 3:00 p.m.

A van driven by 58-year-old Carol Walter of Eagan left the road and drove into the grass, struck an embankment and went into the air. The van struck the driver's side window of a pick-up that was stopped at a stop sign at 155th Street.

The two people in the pick-up, 63-year-old Lawrence Korf and 62-year-old Joyce Korf of Pierz, were taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The two people in the van, 58-year-old Carol Walter and 58-year-old William Walter of Eagan, were not hurt.
