Rapids River Days This Week in Sauk Rapids

SAUK RAPIDS (WJON News) -- The 21st annual Rapids River Days is happening this week in Sauk Rapids.

Thursday's Rock the Riverside concert at the Clearing will feature the bands The Soupbones and Swamp Donkey.

Also, Thursday is the Miss Sauk Rapids Pageant at the Sauk Rapids-Rice Middle School.

On Friday it's the Rapids River Days Parade starting at 6:00 p.m.

On Saturday, the 35th annual Rapids River Food Fest will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Sauk Rapids Municipal Park. Live bands on the stage include Sawyers Dream, Janelle Kendall and Thunder Road, and Way Up North. Other activities include Axe throwing, airbrush tattoos, and a petting zoo.
