For several years now, a group of about a dozen watercolor painters have been meeting at the St. Cloud Whitney Senior Center to take part in the Silver Brushes group. Sandy Piano is one of the founders of the group and says painting in a group keeps it much more social and fun.

It's not a common sport to find in Minnesota, but cricket has recently gained strong following with students at St. Cloud State University. The cricket club was formed in 2007 and meets twice a week to play.

Formed in 1968, the St. Cloud Area Singing Saints Barbershop Chorus has become well known in the area, featuring their booming and stunning sound at local events. Club president Tom Veitch says the sound is also unique in that it features no band or background music.
