Mass of Christian Burial for Ralph Corrigan age 88 of Foley who died August 5, 2017 will be at 12 Noon, Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Duelm. Friends may call from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the church on Tuesday. Rev. Virgil Helmin will officiate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Service with Dignity provided by the Foley Funeral Home.

Ralph Edward Corrigan, a proud Irishman, was born March 22, 1929 in St. George Township, Benton County to John and Mathilda (Abfalter) Corrigan. He married Victoria Schneider on November 25, 1978 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. He farmed all of his life in St. George Township. Ralph was also a seed salesman for Top Farm Hybrid and Dahlman Seed Company for many years. He was especially fond of his Allis-Chalmer tractors. Ralph was a life-long member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church where he served as an usher, member of the St. Lawrence Knights of Columbus and worked at the beer stand for the parish bazaar for many years. He was especially proud of the fact that he gave blood for the Red Cross for many years, something he felt very strongly about. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be donated to the St. Lawrence Church building fund.

He is survived by his wife, Victoria, Foley, daughters; Christine (Steve) Scherbing, Foley; Ashley (Fernando) Corrigan-Steffey, San Diego, CA and grandchildren; Tailor, Brianna, Emma and Andrew Scherbing, brother, Ed (Durane) Corrigan, Clear Lake and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Harold and David 'Jerome' Corrigan and sisters; Hazel Corrigan, Ellen Corrigan, Evelyn Cielinski and mother-in-law, Hildegard Schneider, June 2, 2017; father-in-law, Victor Schneider and brother-in-law, Gerald Schneider.
