SARTELL (WJON News) -- A new one-of-a-kind business will be opening in Sartell soon. Nurture To Play is targeting a January opening for its play cafe. The business will be a place for adults to take a break and have a safe place for their kids to play while they do so.

Co-owner Alexis Demuth says their goal is to take care of the whole family unit:

"We want the caregivers to feel taken care of just as much as the kids feel taken care of so on top of just open play which will be kind of the main draw, the main draw is like come play with your kids but we want to have special events and classes and workshops where you can learn and educate and grow as a parent and a caregiver too."

Demuth says she will be there as a dietician too and the whole business has come together fast. Fellow owner Jordan Reinke says when she first experienced a play cafe while on a trip she knew she needed to bring one to the Sartell/St. Cloud area:

"The one that was kind of the catalyst for us opening was in Montana and I came home and went to a mom group with Alexis and was like okay I'm ready to open up a play cafe with we really need something like this here that parents can get out of the house and let their kids get their energy out."

Reinke says the target age for kids is 6 and under and they will have plenty of activities for them to do with things like a tiny town, rock climbing wall, swings, and more. Demuth says they will have a coffee bar by 2nd Street Coffee House and Nurture To Play is a place for moms by moms:

"We just really want a place that you can feel comfortable like going to a coffee shop or a store or out to eat with kids is stressful so to be able to like have an environment that you can enjoy a coffee, read your book, answer emails and your kids can scream and they can throw things and it's okay."

Reinke says it will be a place for people to build community with other parents. Nurture To Play will hold a sneak peek for the public on Sunday, December 15th from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with Santa, vendors, a kids' craft area, and furry friends on hand from the Tri-County Humane Society. Nurture To Play will be in The Pantry's old location at 1001 2nd Street South in Sartell.

Movies and TV shows have always found ways to partner with cereal companies as part of their promotion strategy. While some may have come up with a giveaway in boxes, others went big by having their own cereal connected to the movie or TV show title. Here are vintage cereals that were used to promote some of pop culture's biggest moments (and some you probably forgot about).
