Rejuv Medical's Ben Thayer says the Healthy Living Trail is a great way to bring the elements of the gym outdoors.

"People want to be outside this time of year, so all you have to do is run along the mile long trail and every time you see a station do a couple of sets and continue," says Thayer.

The equipment along the trail uses your body weight as resistance and each piece has a set of instructions to help any beginners.

Thayer says when it comes to working out on the trail you may want to use a different approach then your standard 10-12 reps.

"I would recommend just going from the start of the trail to the finish for about 30-45 minutes and every time you hit a station do about 20 reps," says Thayer.

The trail is free to use and a good tool for anyone who wants a safe and easy start to their workout routine.

"These machines are easy to do, they are safe and if you are doing things on your own you want to make sure things are safe," says Thayer.

If you try the trail and decide you want to take your workouts to the next level call Ben at Rejuv at 320-217-8480.
