Edward “Ed” M. Walker, 80, Sartell

June 23, 1945 - May 20, 2026

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sauk Rapids for Edward M. Walker, age 80, who passed away Wednesday at his home in Sartell. Rev. Thomas Knoblach will officiate and entombment will be at Hilltop Mausoleum in Sauk Rapids. Visitation will be two hours prior to service at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids.

Ed was born June 23, 1945 in St. Cloud to Oscar and Pauline (Kardash) Walker. Ed lived in the Sauk Rapids area for most of his life. He married Patricia Brinkman on April 20, 1974 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell. Ed worked in the production area for Fingerhut in St. Cloud for over 45 years, retiring in 2010. He was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where he was active in the funeral choir and was a Eucharistic Minister. He attended daily Mass and made time for prayer each day. Ed was a member of the Sacred Heart Knights of Columbus Council 11346, and a fourth degree Knights of Columbus Father Pierz Assembly, and Eagles Aerie #622. Ed served as Sacristan at the St. Clare Monastery and was involved with the Crosier Apostolates. Ed enjoyed visiting with people and was a very kind, thoughtful, generous, caring, and joyful man with a wonderful laugh.

Ed is survived by his twin sister, Elaine Walker of St. Cloud and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents; his wife, Patricia on January 23, 2022; brothers, Jack and Harvey; sister, Marlys (Duane) Grandy.
