Two Hurt in St. Cloud Crash

ST. CLOUD -- Two women were taken to the hospital after a crash in south St. Cloud Saturday.

Police say a car driven by 44-year-old Stacy Rusch struck another vehicle that was stopped for a red light.

The crash happened at the intersection of Second Street South and 29th Avenue just before 5:00 p.m.

Rusch was cited for inattentive driving and was taken by ambulance to St. Cloud hospital. The driver of the other car, a 55-year-old St. Cloud woman was taken to the hospital by a private party.

Police have not determined the exact cause of the collision, but say it may be a result of Rusch's foot coming off the brake and onto the accelerator.
