Three Hurt in Two Vehicle Crash in Meeker County
COSMOS -- Three people were hurt in a two vehicle crash in Meeker County Wednesday afternoon.
The incident happened at about 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of County State Aid Highway 10 and 160th Street in Danielson Township.
Meeker County Sheriff Brian Cruze says 20-year-old Dimitri Lund, of Cosmos, was westbound on 160th Street when he failed to yield for a yield sign and was hit by another vehicle causing his vehicle to roll several times.
The driver of the second vehicle was 47-year-old Dee Smith, of Cosmos.
Smith, Lund and his passenger 17-year-old Levi Lund, were taken to Meeker Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Cruze says all parties were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
Both vehicles were a total loss.
