Sharon “Sherry” L. Sherwood, age 78 of Princeton, MN, passed away May 20, 2026, at M Health Fairview Northland in Princeton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Christ Our Light Catholic Parish in Princeton. Fr. Kevin Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Burial will be at St. Pius X Catholic Cemetery in Zimmerman.

Sharon Lee was born to Leo and Bernadine (Olek) Wimmer on February 23, 1948, in Little Falls. She graduated from Little Falls High School. Sherry married David Sherwood on June 15, 1968. They moved to various places early in their marriage and eventually built their home together and settled in Zimmerman where they raised their two children. Sherry enjoyed golfing, gardening, canning, and crafts. She will be remembered for being an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her.

Sherry is survived her children, Mike (Angie) Sherwood of Princeton and Nina Sherwood (Keith Mayry) of Princeton; grandchildren, Dillon, Justin, Brandon, Jesse, and Taelor; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Maive, Wren, Benjamin, and Jonathon; siblings, Loni, Judy, Mary, and Jim; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Dave.
