ROSCOE - A home in Roscoe was destroyed by a fire Monday morning.  The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says the call came in at 10:00 a.m. for a house fire at 340 1st Street in Roscoe.

Deputies arrived on scene to find the house engulfed in flames.

Paynesville Fire and Rescue, St. Martin Fire and Rescue, Paynesville EMS, and Chain of Lakes Fire and Rescue responded to put out the fire.

Twenty-one-year-old Juevnal Martinez was inside the home when the fire started and made it out safely. No injuries were reported on the scene.

The fire marshall was called to investigate the cause of the fire. The homeowner, 65-year-old Arturo Garcia, was out of town at the time of the incident.

Cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
