One Hurt in Two Vehicle Crash in Kandiyohi County

KANDYOHI COUNTY -- One person is hurt after a two vehicle crash Thursday morning.

The incident happened at about 8:00 a.m. on Highway 71 near 150th Avenue Southeast in Kandiyohi County.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 26-year-old Mahad Hanshi, of Willmar, was attempting to pass another vehicle, when he lost control, hit the vehicle sending it into the ditch.

Hanshi and his passenger, 33-year-old Mowlid Hassan of Savage, were not hurt.

The driver of the second vehicle, 46-year-old Maria Gutierrez of Willmar, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
