Man Arrested in Sartell Wanted by Chicago Police For Attempted Murder

SARTELL - Sartell Police have arrested a man who has a warrant out for attempted murder.

An officer saw a man at about 12:30 p.m. on Sunday with what looked like an illegal gun.

The has been identified as 33-year-old Tykari Blackmon of Sartell. He has an "armed and dangerous status" and is wanted by Chicago Police for attempted murder.

Blackmon was arrested and officers also found he was carrying five bags of marijuana. He is in the Benton County Jail.
