Will Rapper Jay Z Be The Super Bowl Halftime Performer?

Every year we wait to hear who will be the Super Bowl Halftime show.  And also, every year there are complaints as to who will be performing.  And every year there are people who say "that was the worst halftime show ever", "Can't we get some real music next year", and my personal favorite "I'm done with the NFL, they don't know how to pick good entertainment".  These comments happen every year no matter who the performer is.

HAS THIS SEASON'S SB HALFTIME PERFORMER BEEN CHOSEN

So, enter Jay Z - rapper, music executive and Beyonce's husband.  He has declared himself as the musical performer for the Super Bowl Halftime show.  Jay Z's company Roc Nation has produced the halftime how since 2019, he has never taken the stage himself.  His wife, Beyonce, did perform during the halftime show back in 2013.

I suppose he feels since his company produces the show, that he can declare himself as the talent for this season.  Although, the NFL and actually, ROC Nation, have not confirmed this announcement.  However with ROC Nation being Jay Z's company, this seems like a formality.

IF he actually turns out to be the performer, will he be bringing along anyone else?  Every performer generally does, except in a handful of cases.  But usually there is an ensemble of performers.  Who that may be... still waiting.  Still waiting to see if the NFL confirms this performance.

Since ROC Nation took over the halftime show in 2019, these have been the performers.  And now, possibly, Jay Z will be added to that list.

PEOPLE HAVE MANY DIFFERENT OPINIONS WHEN IT COMES TO THE HALFTIME SHOW

I've heard people say that they want a good classic rock band to perform.  Also have heard that they want a country artist to perform, or any of the top 40 pop artists.  So, you are never going to make everyone happy.  There will always be complaints.
