Cordelia M. “Boots” Inselman-Record, St. Cloud, 90

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Cordelia M.“Boots” Inselman-Record, age 90 of St. Cloud who passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Quiet Oaks Hospice House in St. Augusta. Reverend Gregory Lieser will officiate. Private interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.

Family and friends may call after 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Arrangements were made by the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud.

Boots was born March 14, 1924 in Waite Park, Minnesota to John and Anna (Bhenen) Revenig. She married Marvin Inselman on April 24, 1946 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waite Park. Marvin died in 1989. Boots married George Record on November 18, 2005 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, St. Cloud. She lived most of her married life in St. Cloud. Boots worked at J.C. Penney for 23 years and retired in 1986. She was a member of St. Peter’s Parish, Christian Women, St. Cloud Veterans of Foreign Wars Granite Post #428 Auxiliary, Waite Park American Legion Unit #428 Auxiliary and Whitney Senior Center Quilting Group for many years.

Survived by her husband, George; three daughters and two sons, Mary Ann (Leroy) Morin of Brooklyn Park, Richard Inselman of Deer River, and Douglas Inselman of St. Joseph, Margaret (Patrick) Daniel of St. Cloud, Susan (Patrick) Bettenberg of Sartell; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; parents; brothers, Ralph and Leander; sister, Helen Keepers.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers to Quiet Oaks Hospice.
