ST. CLOUD - The Tech Alumni Association will host an open house today (Monday) to unveil the designs and funding for renovations to Clark Field.

The event will be held on the second floor of D.B. Searle's in downtown St. Cloud from 6:30-9:00 p.m.

Tech Alumni Association President Jim Dahl says the $3.2-million project is designed to preserve the unique architecture created when the field was built in 1942.

The group is proposing a 50-50 funding share with the school district. They hope to be able to get the project competed in time for the 2015 fall season.

The St. Cloud Area School District closed Clark Field in 2012 for varisty football because of mold issues.
