MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A Minneapolis man is accused of driving drunk, crashing into a pedal pub and seriously injuring several passengers.

Thirty-five-year-old Mershon Leroy Corbett was charged Friday with six counts of criminal vehicular operation for the Wednesday night collision that injured a dozen of the 13 people aboard the people-powered bar on wheels as it was heading across a bridge into downtown Minneapolis.

Witnesses told police they saw no indication that he hit his brakes.

The complaint says the preliminary breath test put Corbett's blood alcohol concentration at 0.214 percent, nearly triple the legal limit.

Corbett is scheduled to make his first court appearance Monday. Court records don't list a defense lawyer who could comment.

Four of the counts are felonies with maximum penalties of three years in prison.
