5 People Rescued After Boat Capsizes

KIMBALL - Five people were in a boat when it capsized on a Stearns County lake. The Sheriff's Office says it happened at about 3:30 p.m. Monday on the southeast side of Pearl Lake in Maine Prairie Township.

Two other fishing boats helped fish the people out of the water.

The 16 foot fishing boat has been removed from the lake.

The Sheriff's Office says windy conditions played a role in the accident.

The victims are 33-year-old He Sun of St. Cloud, 58-year-old Fengyi Xu of Roseville, 30-year-old Shuai Guan of St. Paul,  42-year-old Yu Jiang of Coon Rapids, and 45-year-old Qiliang Xu of Coon Rapids .
