Here's a WJON FlashBriefing for September 18, 2017.
THUNDERSTORMS -- Western Minnesota could see some severe weather Tuesday night. The main possible hazards -- large hail and damaging winds.
ROLLOVER INJURIES -- Two people -- hurt -- in a rollover east of Becker Saturday night. An SUV on Highway 10, drifting into the median, then rolling. Non-life threatening injuries for two Twin Cities passengers.
TRAILER RECOVERED -- Police have arrested a Little Falls man after a stolen Burski Excavating trailer was found parked at the man's home in Morrison County. Arrested -- 42-year-old Gerrey Stevenson.
HIGHWAY 10 DELAYS -- Expect some slowdowns on Highway 10 in the St. Cloud area as MnDOT crews install a high-tension median barrier. It's along a 6-mile stretch from East St. Germain NORTH to County Road 33. Expect lane closures through the end of October.
SARTELL DELAYS -- Expect some delays around the Sartell bridge Tuesday. There will be some lane shifts as construction crews work on the site of a new Kwik Trip store.
HOCKEY DAY MINNESOTA -- Hockey Day Minnesota is almost four months away now and plans are coming together to put St. Cloud under the hockey microscope. One of the planners -- Mike Petroske -- says the games at Lake George won't actually be played on the lake. They'll build a rink where Summertime By George audiences usually sit -- and it'll have refrigerated ice to guarantee a surface. Hockey Day Minnesota is January 20th.
