UPDATE: Police on Lookout for Two Robbery Suspects
ST. CLOUD -- St. Cloud Police have identified two more suspects in an ongoing robbery investigation.
They are looking for 18-year-old Michael Brown, he's five-feet, 10 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds and 23-year-old Daquan Ledbetter, he's five-feet, 11 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds.
Brown and Ledbetter were allegedly involved in the robbery that took place November 19th. Authorities say a 26-year-old man from Minneapolis called police around 11:45 p.m. the night of the incident to report he had been robbed at gunpoint. The man told police he had come to St. Cloud to visit a woman he had met on a social media site. During his visit with the woman, two men (who were friends of hers) joined them inside the victim's car. The woman left the car and her two friends pulled their handguns out and robbed the victim.
Police arrested 19-year-old Taylor Danielson of St. Cloud for the November 19th armed robbery as well as a 16-year-old girl from St. Cloud.
On Wednesday afternoon the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force and the St. Cloud Police Department searched a home at 1112 14th Avenue SE. The SWAT Team was also used to conduct the search. Just before searching the home, several people inside the house ran away on foot. Authorities searched the area and found everyone who fled. Police arrested 22-year-old Tarrell Garth of St. Cloud. Garth was arrested for a previous reported armed robbery that had happened on November 19. The other individuals were released pending possible charges.
The search warrant was a result of ongoing investigations into several other incidents in St. Cloud. These incidents include the robbery on November 19th, a shooting on November 23rd than happened in the 170 block of 16th Street SE in which a victim was shot in the foot, another shooting on November 25th in the 400 block of 9th Avenue North in which the victim was shot in the back and a shooting on November 26th in the 1100 block of 14th Avenue Southeast where shots were fired into a vehicle.
Police arrested 19-year-old Rauch Chuol of St. Cloud for the shooting on November 23rd.
