Unemployment Rate Dips in St. Cloud Metro Area

ST. CLOUD - The unemployment rate for the St. Cloud metro area dropped in March.

The Department of Employment and Economic Development says our unemployment rate is now at 6.6% -- that's down from the 6.9% in February.

It's also our lowest unemployment rate for the month of March since it was at 5.8% back in 2008.

The state of Minnesota as a seasonally adjusted rate of 5.8%, and the nation's unemployment rate is 8.2%.
