ST. JOSEPH -- Two people were hurt after a rear end crash in St. Joseph Thursday.

The incident happened at about 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 75 and County Road 134 in Stearns County.

The Sheriff's Office says 35-year-old Benjamin Schirmers, of Sauk Centre, was stopped at a red light on County Road 75 when he was rear ended by another vehicle.

The driver of the second vehicle was 18-year-old Alisha Ritter, of Albany. Ritter told authorities she didn't see Schirmers vehicle was stopped.

Both Schirmers and Ritter were taken to St. Cloud Hospital for their injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
