FOLEY - Two people are hurt after being rear-ended in Benton County.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened just after 5:00 p.m. Friday on Highway 23 near 165th Street Northeast.

Sargent Jesse Grabow says an SUV driven by 51-year-old Darin Kjaer of Foreston,  was west on Highway 23 and stopped to make a left turn onto Highway 7. The SUV was rear-ended by a pickup driven by a 16-year-old girl. The crash sent the SUV into the ditch.

Kjaer and his passenger, 46-year-old Tonja Kjaer of Foreston, were taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The 16-year-old was not hurt.
