MILWAUKEE, WI -- The Minnesota Twins knocked the ball all over the yard in an 8-1 win this afternoon over the Milwaukee Brewers.

Miguel Sano was the star of the day, knocking in two runs while reaching base on all five plate appearances -- including three walks and his 2nd home run of the year, a two-run blast to give Minnesota a 4-1 lead in the 7th inning.

Eddie Rosario also had a great day at the plate, going 4-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored.

Starter Ricky Nolasco was stellar, allowing only one run on five hits while pitching into the 7th inning.

The Twins abused the Brewers bullpen, scoring four runs in the final two innings highlighted by a solo home run from Brian Dozier in the 8th.

With the win, the Twins split the four-game home-and-home series with Milwaukee and improve to 5-11 on the season.

The Twins will head to the nation's capital for a weekend series with the Washington Nationals beginning tomorrow night. Kyle Gibson will get the start for Minnesota against Gio Gonzalez. First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 p.m.
