Tri-County Humane Society Pet Patrol: Joel and Brock
Joel is a 3-month-old neutered kitten who's waiting to meet you at Kitty Korner, 1715 1st St. South in St. Cloud (corner of Washington Memorial Drive and Division Street). Joel was brought to TCHS with his siblings. We’re told he played with guinea pigs and chickens in their home; they also said he loved to chase the leaves outside. Although leaves will do in a pinch, Joel should have plenty of interactive toys in his new home. Just goes to show he’s not fussy about what toys he picks to entertain himself! Check out the TCHS Re-Tail Shoppe for fun toy options at a great price.
Brock (AKA Broccoli) is one of the newest members of our Adoption Ambassador program. Through Adoption Ambassadors, TCHS animals stay in a foster home until their adopter is found. (If you’re interested in Brock, contact the shelter at 320-252-0896 to arrange a meet-and-greet.) Brock is a 3-year-old neutered American Pit Bull Terrier mix. He was brought to TCHS due to having allergies that need regular veterinary care. He’s on a hypoallergenic diet and takes medications that will be needed long term, along with regular vet visits to keep him on the right track to be comfortable and happy. Brock’s house-trained and will whine to let you know when he needs to go outside. He's done well with children and other dogs in the past (he wants to play!). Brock is equally comfortable going on long hikes as he is being a couch potato. The most important thing to him is that he's with his people!
