The St. Cloud State University men's hockey team struggled at home on Friday against Colorado College in their first conference matchup of the season.

Colorado struck first in the opening period to grab a 1-0 lead over SCSU. In the second period, the Tigers netted their second to push out the lead.

The Huskies answered with goals from Will Hammer and Jami Krannila to tie the game 2-2. Colorado College locked the game up in the final period, scoring two to beat St. Cloud State 4-2.

The Huskies fall to 2-3-4 and will play game two against the Tigers on Saturday. Pre-game starts at 5:30 p.m. on The River 96.7 FM.
