Minnesota State Colleges and Universities are mandating vaccines for all employees and some students. Those required to get a vaccine or weekly test include Students living in college or university-owned residence facilities, students participating in intercollegiate athletics and students required to vaccinate by their clinical or internship sites.
St. Cloud State University President Dr. Robbyn Wacker joined me on WJON today. She says they are monitoring the COVID-19 local cases and situation daily. Wacker says they "strongly encourage faculty, staff and students to get the COVID-19 vaccine."
The Minnesota Twins rallied for a win over Oakland, while the Timberwolves recorded a loss. The St. Cloud State University softball team fell in their NSIC Tournament run, and the St. John's University baseball team dropped game one of the weekend series to Hamline.
The Minnesota Lynx came up short in their first contest at Target Center since 2019, the Oakland A's routed the Twins at Target Field, and the St. Cloud State University baseball and softball teams both notched wins to advance in the NSIC Tournament.
