Tickets For Regions Newest Christmas Experience Go On Sale
One of the region's newest Christmas experiences started selling tickets for the upcoming 2024-25 holiday season. Visitors to Miracle at Big Rock, in the St. Croix River Valley, will see Christmas lights, food trucks, artisans, sledding, S'mores, fireworks, and cocktails.
I hadn't ever heard of Miracle at Big Rock until last year when some friends invited us to join them in going. I was blown away by the setup Miracle at Big Rock had, and if you remember last year we didn't have much snow, so it was an easy drive.
The grounds featured several rentable buildings, some inflatable domes, a huge barn filled with vendors selling holiday gifts, and a small bar upstairs selling craft cocktails.
At the back of the barn/vendor area, there was a wagon-train-like circle of food trucks offering up different options like burgers, and gyros, and maybe there was a pizza truck out while we were there too.
The lights are what did it for me. You can buy a ticket and ride on a tractor-pulled trailer through the millions of lights, or you can just walk. We preferred walking, as it allowed us to take our time, enjoy the nice evening, and see that portion of the world under twinkling lights. Or in front of a giant moon!
If you are interested in checking it out for yourself, you can learn more about the event, and see the hours Miracle at Big Rock is open, which starts seeing visitors on Black Friday and runs through January 4th, 2025.
Tickets are $25 for adults but tickets do include the fireworks show, which was really spectacular to see in the cold air, it makes the colors really pop!
