Shotgun Fired in Altercation

Saint Cloud Police say a verbal argument between roommates got out of hand Friday night.
Called to the 600 block of 8th Street South, officers learned that 20-year old Nicholas Folk of Saint Cloud retrieved a 410 shotgun from his bedroom after the argument and fired one shot through the victim’s occupied bedroom doorway. No one was injured during the assault and Folk was arrested at his residence for 2nd degree assault and the shotgun was seized for evidence. Folk is being held in the Stearns County Jail on the charges.
