Sartell Takes a Break on Building Apartments [PODCAST]

Sartell Mayor Ryan Fitzthum joined me on WJON today.  Sartell recently decided to put a moratorium on building multi-family housing for 12 months.  Fitzthum indicated that there is much support to pause the building of apartments in their community.  He also stated that the city portion of their property taxes is going down.  Sartell-St. Stephen school district is asking voters to approve an operating levy.  Mayor Fitzthum expressed support to the school district in passing this levy.  Listen below.

The construction of the Sartell Public Safety Facility continues to move forward on budget and on schedule.  Fitzthum says the red fire station garage doors are going up.  Sartell is looking at splash pad options for Watab Park and the city continues to look for public input.
