One Hurt In Crash In Morrison County

MORRISON COUNTY -- One person is hurt after a two vehicle crash Friday morning.

The incident happened at about 10:47 a.m. on Dove Rd, near the intersection of 330th Street, in Scandia Valley Township.

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office says 52 year-old Shawn Scheerle, of Crushing, was traveling south on Dove Road when he swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway, lost control and collided with an oncoming vehicle.

The driver of the second vehicle, 63 year-old Joann Beto, of Motley, was not hurt.

Her passenger, 66 year-old Judith Bellamy of Motley, suffered minor injuries. She was taken by ambulance to Staples Hospital.
