
Rochester Man Accused of Selling Cocaine to Informant During Controlled Buy
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Rochester man has been charged in connection with a controlled buy conducted by law enforcement.

That’s according to a criminal complaint filed in Olmsted County Court on Friday. The alleged drug sale happened nearly two years ago.

Controlled Buy Conducted by Olmsted County Sheriff's Office Leads to Felony Drug Charge
27-year-old Abdikadar Awil Ali is charged with one count of first-degree drug sales.
The complaint says the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office learned in the late Spring of 2024 that an informant could obtain cocaine from Ali.
Law enforcement and the informant then set up a drug buy in northwest Rochester. Ali sold the informant 28.6 grams of cocaine, the complaint says.
Ali is being charged by summons. He is due to make his first court appearance in June.
