Poll Shows Tafoya Well Ahead In Senate Nomination Battle

A new poll shows sports broadcaster Michelle Tafoya leading the race for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate.

The survey of 500 likely Republican voters, conducted last weekend, found 41% support Tafoya. Former NBA player and 2024 U.S. Senate candidate Royce White was second with 11%.

The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus four percentage points. Tafoya also received favorable marks from Republican voters, with 57% viewing her favorably and 8% unfavorably.

The Minnesota Republican Party’s nominating convention is scheduled for May 29 through May 31 in Duluth.
