The first-ever Taste of Benton County promises an evening filled with local flavors, live music, and plenty of opportunities to discover businesses that call Benton County home. Better yet, every ticket sold helps support future economic development efforts throughout the county.

EVERYONE IS INVITED TO ENJOY AN EVENING OF DELICIOUSNESS AND FUN

Everyone from central Minnesota is invited to the first 'Taste of Benton County' on Wednesday, July 22nd, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Sauk Rapids Sports Arena East, located at 1410 3rd Avenue South in Sauk Rapids.

Maybe you are planning a wedding in the near future? Maybe you just love trying new foods. Regardless of the reason, the fundraiser was created to showcase the wide variety of restaurants, caterers, breweries, wineries, distilleries, and other food businesses that help make Benton County a great place to live and visit. Organizers are inviting attendees to enjoy unlimited tastings while connecting with local businesses and supporting a worthwhile cause.

WHO CAN ATTEND 'TASTE OF BENTON COUNTY'

The event is open only to guests ages 21 and older, and is expected to feature approximately 30 vendors serving everything from appetizers and entrees to desserts and beverages.

Several well-known businesses have already signed on to participate, including:

Goodfellas Bar and Grill, Texas Roadhouse, Krewe, Pizza Barn, Chick-fil-A, Granite City Food and Brewery, Kinder Coffee, Lily's Wings Catering, The Lemonade Stand, Red Barn Dairy Queen, Coborn's, Bernick's, ODBS Food Truck, Iron Street Distillery, Northern Hollow Winery, C and L Distributing, and more.

Whether you're craving barbecue, pizza, handcrafted coffee, frozen treats, local wines, craft spirits, or something sweet, the evening offers an opportunity to sample a little bit of everything without driving from restaurant to restaurant.

Beyond the food, the event is designed to shine a spotlight on Benton County's growing business community. Funds raised will help support the Benton Economic Partnership and its mission of encouraging economic growth, assisting local businesses, and strengthening communities throughout the county.

SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES BY HAVING A GREAT TIME!

On the Benton Economic Partnership website, one grant recipient shared appreciation after receiving assistance, saying the support meant a great deal to their small business and served as an important vote of confidence during a challenging time.

Events like 'Taste of Benton County' help create those opportunities by bringing residents and businesses together while raising funds that can be reinvested into the local economy.

If the first year is a success, organizers hope Taste of Benton County will become an annual tradition that celebrates local entrepreneurs and gives residents another reason to spend an evening exploring everything the county has to offer.
