Lakes Jam Posts To Social Media About Campground Issues
Lakes Jam took place over the weekend. Overall the music festival left people walking away with positive experiences. This was a big year for attendees as the lineup featured some of the brightest up and coming Country artists like Tucker Wetmore and Bailey Zimmerman. It seems like all the fun spilled over into the campground as Lakes Jam posted about a tip line being created after some of that fun lead to theft, tipped porta-potties, and general disrespect.
Anonymous Tip Line For Campers
Lakes Jam posted about the campground issues Saturday afternoon, before the start of the final day, that there were some campground issues and it had created an anonymous tip line to try and find the perpetrators who left a mess.
According to the post, 70 porta-potties were tipped over, to go along with some reports of theft in the campground area of the music festival.
A 21+ Event?
Several of the social media comments accompanying the post suggested that the event move to being 21+. While that is a nice thought, it doesn't mean that those younger than 21 were responsible for the porta-potties and theft.
Hopefully this was just a one night issue for the popular Central Minnesota event, and going into next year the events organizers bring even more excitement to Brainerd International Raceway.
