Historic Union Depot To Unveil Winter Carnival Buttons on Saturday
ST. PAUL (WJON News) -- You can get into the full holiday spirit at the Union Depot in St. Paul on Saturday. The 12th Annual tree lighting will take place with a number of other fun activities.
The night will get started with the revealing of the 2025 St. Paul Winter Carnival button collection inside the Waiting Room at 5:00 p.m. Members of the Winter Carnival Royal Family, Klondike Kates, the the Vulcan Krewe will do the unveiling. The button reveal will be followed up with a holiday concert by the Mistletones along with free hot chocolate.
At 7:00 p.m. people will gather in the North Plaza for the countdown and tree lighting with the first 1,000 kids 12 and under getting a free light-up snowflake wand. The night wraps up with the showing of a holiday classic movie, Elf at 7:30 p.m. in the Waiting Room. All the events are free to attend.
