Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2022 at Peace United Church of Christ in St. Cloud for Henry “Bud” Doeden, age 86, who passed away Sunday surrounded by his family. Rev. John Fiscus will officiate and the burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Sartell. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids.

Henry was born February 5, 1936 in Watab Township to George & Beulah (Vohs) Doeden. He honorably served our country in the U.S. Army. Bud married Beverly “Bev” Bracken on May 19, 1962 at the Evangelical Mission Covenant Church in St. Cloud. He worked as a cook at the St. Cloud VA Medical Center for 32 years. Bud was a member of Sartell American Legion Post #277. He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing the accordion, square dancing, painting houses, making bird houses, zipper art, and reading Western novels. Bud was kind hearted, loving, gentle, patient, and family oriented. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, wintering in AZ, and going to the cabin with his family at Borden Lake.

Survivors include his wife, Bev of Waite Park; sons and daughters, Jay (Debra) of Kimball, Linda (Ricky) Stolp of Clear Lake, Brian (Amy) of Waconia, and Susan (Kevin) Heim of Eden Prairie; brother, Gary (Pat) of Sartell; grandchildren, Tasha, Justin, Lance, Sara, Alexandra, Alexander, Olivia, Amber, Nicholas, and Elyse; and five great grandchildren. Bud was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, George.
