Governor Dayton Declares October 15th “John Gagliardi Day”

Governor Mark Dayton declared Monday, October 15th, 2018 "John Gagliardi Day" in Minnesota in a Tweet sent Monday morning.

Gagliardi passed away on October 7th at the age of 91. He coached the St. John's University football team for 62 years after four years at Carroll College in Montana.

He is college football's all-time winningest coach with 489 victories.
