Recent interior facelift to restaurant causing a commotion

You may have noticed some subtle (and not so subtle) changes to the way the dining room looks at Bravo Burrito.

Owners Mike Lardy and Sam Hennen teamed up with local artists and designers Traumen Glasberg Designs to redesign the interior of the iconic storefront, giving it a new, fresh, and exciting look.

“We’re celebrating three years as the new owners of Bravo Burrito, and we knew it was time for a fresh coat of paint, plus a little refresher on the decor,” said Lardy, after hosting a film crew from the web-based roadshow, America’s Best RestaurantsStay tuned for details on when the episode will be released!

The revised interior features some bold new colors, artwork by local artists, plus some sleek accent lighting, giving Bravo a contemporary look to the dining area.

If you’ve been out to eat at Bravo Burrito in the past few decades, you may have seen some of the art and memorabilia that the restaurant founders had accumulated. The new lobby experience still features numerous of those artifacts in a way meant to pay homage to the founders’ original vision of the burrito shop, including some classic news articles and photos featuring Bravo Burrito over the years.

Of course, when it comes to the most important aspect of a restaurant’s success (the food), not much has changed. The owners have replied that the recipes are still the originals that traveled with the founders all the way here from San Francisco, California.

“Those formulas have been maintained and are the cornerstone of what we do at Bravo Burrito” remarks Lardy.
