Ex-Coach In Southern Minnesota Charged In Shower Filming
BLUE EARTH (AP) - A former basketball coach in southern Minnesota is accused of using a disguised camera to record naked boys in a locker room.
Twenty-eight-year-old Zachary Patrick Roberts was charged Monday with interfering with the privacy of a minor and stalking a minor.
Roberts coached basketball at Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton. According to the criminal complaint, his team had played a game in December when one of his players got a pen to write down a play from Roberts' gym bag. The complaint says the player discovered the pen actually was a camera.
The complaint says the video shows naked boys going in and out of the shower.
Roberts is due in court July 18. Court records do not list a defense attorney who could comment for him.
