Darrell J. Stang, 55, Sartell

December 10, 1959 - April 23, 2015

Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2015 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell for Darrell J. Stang, age 55, who passed away Thursday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Rev. Timothy Baltes will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids and one hour prior to the services Monday at the church in Sartell. Parish prayers will be at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Darrell was born Dec. 10, 1959 in St. Cloud to Alphonse & Renee (Borgert) Stang. He lived in the Sartell area his entire life and worked for Wilkie Sanderson for over 30 years. Darrell was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. He enjoyed cooking, family dinners, making potato soup and sausage, and woodworking. Darrell was very crafty and shared his talents with his daughters and grandchildren. He was an excellent caregiver and was a loving, accepting, loyal and hardworking person.

Survivors include his mother, Renee of Sartell; daughters, Kari (Kevin) Kohl of Fort Ripley, Kristine Walberg of St. Cloud, Nichole (Huey) Reinarz of St. Cloud, Amanda (Nick) Webb of Sartell and Beth (Josh) Johnson of Sartell; brothers and sisters, Doug (Nancy) Stang of Sartell, Sandy (Chris) Bachmann of Sartell, Cindy (Stan Tschida) Erickson of Albany, Paul Stang of Sartell and Larry (Karen) Stang of Lake Elmo; and fifteen grandchildren. Darrell was preceded in death by his father, Alphonse.
