Buffalo Man Arrested For Alleged Assault At Waite Park Motel 6

WAITE PARK -- An argument between two men got physical last night (Monday) in a Waite Park motel lobby.

Waite Park police were called to Motel 6 located at 815 1st Street South at about 9:45 p.m.

When police arrived they say 25-year-old Mark Curboy of Buffalo, was attempting to hit a vehicle in the parking lot with a baseball bat as the vehicle drove past him.

Curboy then allegedly followed the victim into the lobby where he swung the bat at the victim, but did not make contact.

He then returned to his motel room where police found him.

Curboy was arrested and taken to Stearns County Jail. He awaits charges for 2nd Degree Assault and Disorderly Conduct.
