Bowlus Woman Killed in 2 Vehicle Crash In Morrison County

PIERZ - An elderly Bowlus woman was killed in a two vehicle crash in Morrison County this (Tuesday) afternoon.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the broadside type crash happened just before 2:00 p.m. on Highway 27 and 370th Avenue.

Eighty-four-year-old Ione Warzecha of Bowlus was in a vehicle heading east on Highway 27 when it was struck broadside.  She was killed in the crash.

Eighty-eight-year-old Sylvester Warzecha of Sauk Rapids was also in the vehicle. He was hurt, but his injuries are not life-threatening.

The other vehicle was driven by 56-year-old John Butler of New Brighton. His injuries are also not life threatening.
