The College of St. Benedict basketball team won both of their games at the Quinlivan and Hughes Tip-Off Tournament over the weekend to remain undefeated.

On Friday, St. Ben's took on the University of Minnesota-Morris. The Bennies struggled in the first half, trailing 20-11 after the first quarter and 31-27 at the break. CSB rallied in the third and kept the momentum going in the fourth to win it 61-52.

Megan Thompson was the lead scorer for the Bennies with 14 points. Mckenzie Holgate also hit double digits with 11.

Then on Saturday CSB squared off against Buena Vista University. After the opening quarter, the Beavers led the Bennies 15-14. St. Ben's outscored BVU 19-8 in the second quarter and cruised the rest of the way to a 77-54 win.

Alex Johnson led the team with 15 points and Thompson added 13.

The Bennies improve to 3-0 and will host the University of Wisconsin-Superior on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
