CHANHASSEN, Minn. (AP) _ The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has
released the names of the Carver County sheriff's deputies involved in the fatal shooting of a Chanhassen teenager last week.

The BCA says Cpl. Jacob Hodge and Deputy Travis Larson both discharged their guns during a confrontation with 16-year-old Archer Amorosi on Friday. Both deputies are on standard administrative leave.

Deputies were called to the home by the teen's mother, who said he was suicidal and threatening her with knives and a baseball bat.

Investigators say Amorosi ran out of the house holding a hatchet and what appeared to be a handgun. Deputies used a stun gun on the teen and, at one point, Hodge and Larson fired their guns, hitting him.

Authorities recovered a hatchet and a BB gun from near Amorosi's body.
