TODDLER FOUND -- In Richmond, the family dog helped searchers find a 2-year-old boy who wandered from his home into a cornfield. The dog barked for help and stayed at the boy’s side until help arrived.

 

BIG LAKE TOWNSHIP CRASH -- A multiple-vehicle crash in Big Lake Township Tuesday morning. A westbound SUV hit a pick-up crossing Highway 10. Then hit two other vehicles waiting at a stop sign at the intersection. SUV driver Nicole Schmidt of Becker -- taken to a hospital.

 

SEMI- CRASH -- An SUV -- stopping for a red light on southbound Highway 169 in Elk River Tuesday afternoon -- hit from behind by a semi. The SUV driver -- Christopher Palm of Hastings -- taken to the hospital.

 

PURSE SNATCHING -- St. Cloud Police, releasing a surveillance photo of a young thug who robbed an elderly lady of her purse inside Macy’s at Crossroads Center Sunday. Knocking the woman to the ground, kicking and screaming.

 

COLLEGE ENROLLMENT -- Fall enrollment at St. Cloud State, down over 3%. Down nearly 5% at the St. Cloud Technical and Community College.

 

STEARNS EXPANSION -- Stearns County will remodel the county’s Administration Center and expand the Westside Service Center in Waite Park. Part of a 12-million dollar expansion and reshuffling of county departments.

 

GROCERY STORE CLINICS -- And Coborn’s – teaming up with CentraCare Health – to add in-store medical clinics stores in Foley, Waite Park and Sartell.
